Although most KDL branches have now resumed normal operating hours since our morning closing, our Englehardt (Lowell) branch will be closing today at 5:00pm due to building maintenance issues. We hope to resume normal business hours at all 18 branch locations tomorrow, February 22.

Due to current weather conditions, the Kent District Library will be closed until 12pm today, February 21. We will resume normal business hours at that time.

UPDATE: We’ve been given the all-clear to open the Plainfield Township branch as usual at 9:30am today. 
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our Freegal downloadable music service. We hope to have the issue resolved soon. For those of you that use the service regularly, please check back in the near future. For those of you that have not yet used this service, we encourage you check it out once it’s back up and running! We apologize for the inconvenience.

Due to a power outage, the East Grand Rapids branch will be closing at 5:00pm today (Tuesday, October 26).
UPDATE: Power has been restored, and the EGR branch will remain open until 8:00pm as usual!
The server issue that led to the catalog, account information, and public computers being unavailable yesterday has been resolved. All systems should be functioning normally again.
