		<description><![CDATA[Thank you for your comment about the Kent District Library remaining open during snow days. While we believe strongly that the safety of students is paramount, our experience is that public libraries are just as busy, if not sometimes busier during school snow days. KDL reserves the right to close during weather hazards. However, our later open times for the branches (9:30 AM or later) provides greater opportunity for the roads to be maintained. We find families appreciate the opportunity to spend their school day off at the public library where there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
