I’ve actually already seen everything in Hindi in KDL’s DVD collection. I do have a question though, why does Encore seem to lack the “Kent District Lib. (all branches)” limiter that is found in the classic catalog? The search you performed in Encore shows 47 results, the same search in the classic catalog, limited to all KDL branches shows 31. 16 titles are ones that I cannot request because of the current non-print loan policies, it would be nice to be able to quickly filter them out.

KDL has a popular materials collection, and we try to buy videos with the widest appeal to KDL’s patrons. We do try to include the most popular or acclaimed foreign films as well. Because these DVDs float around KDL’s eighteen branches, they are not always easy to find. Here are the results of my catalog search. I did a keyword search for videorecording, limited my resuts to DVDs, then limited the language by clicking the Hindi button in the Language tab. The selection of Indian (Hindi) movies, in particular, is rather slim. I realize I can make purchase suggestions, but I’d feel silly doing that every single time I wanted a certain movie.
