Between me and my four kids, we’re a family of readers and are looking forward to being part of the reading club whether we win or not it’s just the fun of reading and seeing how many books we can read in a certain amount of time. In Baby Bingo, every time you do one of the fun, simple activities (sing the ABC song, build with blocks, etc), you can put an X through that square. When you get a “Bingo,” you receive a free rubber duckie for your baby! Fill up the whole card to receive a board book.

Kids are asked to put a sticker on their reading calendar each day they read or do one of the suggested activities. They can bring in their completed reading log to get some cool rewards and enter to win a bike and other great prizes!

You will receive detailed information when you sign up for the club.

In the adult club, we ask that one out of every four books you read is selected from the Novel Destinations booklist or display. The other books can be of your own choosing.

Kids and teens can make their own book selections.

You can sign up for the Summer Reading Club at any KDL branch beginning June 13. More information about the clubs will be coming soon to the KDL website. Basically, for every four books you read, you can enter a drawing for a cool prize (for the teen and adult clubs). Grand prize drawings will take place after August 6, and a staff member will contact you if you have won.
