It can be as simple as attending an hour meeting once a month to voice your opinion on things happening at your library branch or volunteering to be a reading buddy with younger children or help make crafts at a library party. Some teen advisory board members pick the music showcased in their teen area or assist the librarian with planning teen programs. It really depends on what you are interested in doing or how active your teen board is at your library. Stop by your local branch library and ask one of the youth or teen librarians. We'd be glad to explain what's going on and find something you'd enjoy doing!!!
