Thanks for commenting, Deb and Jaime. We hope you'll both fill out the form in order to be entered into the contest. Any memories you can share about any materials you've checked out and why -- plus what if any impact they had on your life -- would be most helpful. We love to hear about all the ways the library impacts people's lives.

I have been going to the library for as long as I could remember. For the past 25 years I have been going to the Kent City Library. I love the small cozy feeling that the place has. It is nice to just go in, and set in one of the cozy chairs with a good book. Thank you KDL for all you do in keeping the library free for people to use

My big brother liked to go to the library downtown to do research. He would always take me along and I would spend my time in the children's room finding all sorts of wonderful books. I loved the smell of the books, the colorful covers and the quiet solitude. I always left with an armload of books. He instilled a love of the library in me and I still love the library 40-some years later.
