Introducing the KDL Fund

What is the KDL Fund?  The KDL Fund is an exciting initiative designed to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s legacy.  Our goal with the KDL fund is to insure that our library remains vibrant and valuable for many years to come.

The KDL Fund consists of an Annual Fund and an Endowment Fund.  The Annual Fund supports expansion of existing services and programs as well as the development of new programs and services.  The Endowment Fund provides a lasting legacy to meet the future needs of our library and community.  The Endowment Fund was established through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.

More information about the KDL Fund can be found here on our website.

We’ve also made it easy for you to donate to the Annual or Endowment funds.  Gifts of any size will make a difference in the lives of those served by KDL.

What kinds of adult programs do YOU want this fall?

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Here at KDL, we try our very best to come up with new and interesting program ideas to offer all sorts of great events and activities.  We work hard to meet your needs, and who better tell us about these needs than, well… YOU!

If you have any great ideas or have been waiting for that certain special program to be offered at your library, please post a comment here and let us know!  Because we plan for such a large district, we have to plan far in advance, so we are currently looking for ideas for the fall programming season – that’s September, October and November of 2008.  So let the suggestions roll!
