On Saturday, September 8, Schuler Books & Music, 2660 28th St. SE, will donate $1 to the KDL Fund for every temporary glitter tattoo purchased during the store’s 30th anniversary celebration, starting at 2:00 PM.
While you’re there, stick around for live children’s music with Duke Otherwise, an “outlandishly fun,” family-friendly performer.
At select branches through October, KDL will host a series aimed at connecting you with area experts on topics such as healthy living, hobbies, DIY and budgeting. Guest speakers include Rachel Ruiz from WOOD-TV8′s eightWest, On-the-Town magazine editor Joanne Bailey-Boorsma, a Civil War re-enactor, a digital photographer and a genealogy search whiz, among others.
