Are these all retired library books? If not, about what percent are donated? Thanks for your help.
LOVE you, KDL!

The KDL book sales are a lot of fun, but come early and be prepared for a crowded environment, and if you think you want the book, take it now, because it will not be there when you come back.

Speaking of retired library books… what exactly is there? I mean, are they old books (1960s,70s,etc), newer (1990s, 2000s), or a mix? I’d just like to have a vague idea what to expect. Please respond, and thank you.

Hello G (and others): The vast majority of the books for sale were published within the last 10 years.

Another question presented itself in my mind…what exactly are the “other items” mentioned above? Are they digital media (CDs, DVDs, etc.)or anything of that sort? I would appreciate a reply, and thank you once more for your time.
P.S. Out of a curiousity, are the authors a variety? Are there best-sellers? Are there a multitude assortment of genres? I’m probably stretching it, but I plan on going so I’d like to know. Thanks again.

Hey again… sorry to bother you guys again, but for the $2 stuff a bag sale, do you bring your own bag? Is there a size limit? Is the sale just for books, or can it include the AV items mentioned above? I appreciate the responses, so thanks again.

I’m SOOOO looking forward to this, but I’m crushed that it’s only Fri-Sat-Sun…. Really wish you would have opened on Thursday!!!! Not to mention that Sunday is the same day as Allegan Antique Market’s opening season!

I had a great time Friday morning at the sale. There was a line around the building to get in! The staff was pleasant and kept busy rearranging the rows of books on each table. I was happy to see there are boxes available to collect your books in. I spent three hours there and brought home two boxes full. If you go, be prepared to be jostled as you peruse the tables, aisle space is tight . Also, it was very chilly in the warehouse because the two garage doors were open, so dress warmly. I thought the sale was well organized and I will be back if they do it again next year!

Thanks Ann — We’re glad you enjoyed the sale! It certainly was busy Friday morning, but as the day went on we were able to consolidate some tables and open up more room between them. But we still have plenty of books left for those who want to come check out the sale this weekend!

Hey I am coming for the bag book thing today. How many books do you still have? Do you still have a lot of books at the warehouse?
