Hi, I was just wondering, when did you release the winners of the Teen Reading Club? This is for the Grand Rapids Cascade Branch.

  2. Kip Says:

    Hi Tai,

Winners were chosen and contacted right after Summer Reading Club ended on August 15th. Thanks so much for taking part and I hope you try again next year!

    Kip, Cascade Branch.

i read all those books for nothing. i could have been doing something way better than reading. i feel like that was a waste of my summer. i didnt even get a little prize

    Holly,

We are sorry you are disappointed to not win anything during the KDL Teen Summer Reading Club. KDL has limited resources for incentives and our Teen Advisory Groups told us that they would rather read for a chance to win a big prize rather than spend the money on little prizes for everyone. Perhaps you don’t agree. With over 5,000 teens participating in the summer reading club, even a little $1.00 prize for everyone adds up to a lot of money! In any case, we hope that you read some really great books this summer!
