April 8 – 14 is National Library Week, and we want you to know that you belong @ your library. No matter how old you are, where you come from or how much money is in your bank account, you are welcome here.
Libraries have historically served as our nation’s great equalizers of knowledge. The strength of libraries has always been the diversity of their collections and commitment to serving all people. This National Library Week, join us by celebrating the place where we all belong. It’s a great time to stop in and check out our collection of books, movies and more, or attend one of our many programs.
Author Brad Meltzer shares how libraries have impacted him:
Has the library been a “place of belonging” for you? We would love to hear about it! Leave us a comment or share your story here.
