Those of you signed up for email alerts may have received erroneous courtesy notices overnight, stating that items you have checked out and returned months ago are now due in 3 days. Valid alerts will contain a current checkout date and due date, but these problem notices do not.

Please ignore these notices, as they are not accurate. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to figure out what caused the issue and fix it as quickly as possible.

    So glad I found this notice–I was all confused when I got the courtesy notice e-mail and immediately logged on to my account to try to figure out what was going on and make sure I didn’t incur fines!
