Hello and yes…I would like to know what book Kent County will be reading and discussing this winter. Thanks for a reply…if you can at this time.

I’m curious too, but I was told that they won’t be able to share the title until it’s released. I loved last year’s pick, “October Sky”. Great book discussions! I hope this year’s is as good.

I’ll plan to find out at the Ethnic Heritage Festival (Great food too).

Please email me the name of the “One Book, One County 2008” book as soon as it is released.

    Thank you,

I may be out of town Jan. 19 – if possible please e-mail me the One Book, One County” read. I have always enjoyed this event and a pleasure meeting the author at the end. The one thing I do miss, the great gift baskets that each library gave away at the wind-up party, it’s always a fun night.

I think this is a great way to get people reading and talking to each other. I look forward to the release of the title every year, although I cannot say I’ve read them all.

  6. Margaret Stebbins Says:

Please send me the name of the book for One Book, One County. Thanks

  7. Traci Beauchamp Says:

Please send me the name of the book for the One book, on county. I have not heard yet what it is thank you

Althought the book does sound interesting, I am disappointed that you selected a book that is only available in hard cover. This makes it costly for many of the people who want to read it before the author presentation, and with limited library copies, we can’t all get library books. It is also VERY long. Knowing the length, you should have released the title much sooner so we would have time to read this selection before April 1st.

The new book is…(drumroll please)…A Free Life by Ha Jin.
