The library is a great place to get books, attend free programs, use computers… and stay cool. With temperatures soaring this week, health professionals are encouraging those without air conditioning in their homes to seek out public places that are air-conditioned. Sounds like a great opportunity to visit your local KDL branch! All 18 of our branches are air-conditioned and a wonderful place to work, relax or enjoy time with your children in our KDLville play spaces.

As an added bonus, some KDL branches will be showing movies as a way to keep visitors both comfortable and entertained. The Grandville branch will be showing family-friendly movies all day today (Friday), while a movie marathon will take place at the Alpine Township branch during open hours today and tomorrow. Another option is to attend the Reel Fun at the Library program taking place at 2:00 PM today at the Gaines Township branch.

If your home is too hot, the library is a cool place to be!
