Summer vacation usually means extra time to spend with some of our favorite books. Before the lazy days of summer end, why not earn your virtual Reader badge through our Experience Summer @ KDL online program?

Here are some suggested activities for claiming your badge:

• Read a type of book that you’ve never tried before
       Some suggestions:
  • KDL Recommended Reading for Kids
  • KDL Recommended Reading for Teens
  • KDL Recommended Reading for Adults
• Find a favorite author’s website
• Use KDL’s NoveList database to find other books similar to those by your favorite author
• Watch a movie that has been adapted from a book – which did you enjoy more?
       Some suggestions:
  • Books to Movies for Kids
  • Movies from Books for Teens
  • Books to Movies for Adults
• Be creative – choose your own option!
