KDL Welcomes New Branch Manager

cathy-small.jpgCathy Neis, former Assistant Branch Manager of the Wyoming Branch, has been hired as the new Branch Manager of the Gaines Township Branch. She will be responsible for day-to-day operations, programs and services, supervision of support staff, selection and maintenance of the collection, and implementation of policy and procedural changes.

“I love working in public libraries because of the diversity of patrons and their questions,” Cathy said.

Cathy will be taking over for Michelle Boisvenue-Fox, who was recently hired as KDL’s Assistant Director for Public Services.

    Congratulations, Cathy! You deserved the opportunity for promotion. However, you will be missed at the Wyoming branch because I currently visit the branch most often. I will definitely drop by the Gaines branch when I am in the area to say hello.
