Get Your Kids Moving — at the Library!
It’s been in the news a lot recently: the national University of Michigan poll of parents that ranked “not enough exercise” as the No. 1 health concern for children.
“A major culprit in the declining activity levels for kids and adults is the growing time spent watching TV, on the computer and playing video games. With all the temptations for sedentary activities, it can take a conscious decision to get moving,” a source was quoted as saying in an article on mLive.
Well, your friends at KDL are here to help. We’ve recently published our fall Kaleidoscope, which includes a slew of free programs aimed at getting your kids moving. We’ve also got — surprise! — tons of books and videos that can help make exercising fun!
