Caledonia Branch Groundbreaking
On Wednesday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m., approximately 225 community members and library and local officials celebrated the long-awaited groundbreaking of the over 17,000-square-foot Caledonia Township Library. The new library is planned to achieve silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), with an expected opening in January of 2011.
The new library will feature a local history room, large early literacy area and children’s library, a teen area, quiet study rooms, a community meeting room, drive-up book return, and more! Watch it being built at 6260 92nd Street. For more information, visit http://www.newcaledonialibrary.com/
