Sign the Scroll, Make Literacy a Right

More than 35,000 people who believe literacy must be a national priority have signed the Right to Literacy Campaign scroll.

KDL has signed onto the effort — Director Lance Werner and his pal Katie L. stopped by the Grandville branch this morning to add their autographs — and now you can too.

The scroll will be at the Grandville branch today through Friday, September 7. It will next be available to sign at the Cascade Township branch from Saturday, September 8 through Wednesday, September 12.

So far, Tuscon, AZ has the most signatures from a single area, at just over 1,400. Come on, West Michigan, we can beat that! If you are unable to stop by a branch, you also can sign the scroll online.
