Re Going Vegan 101: I am already a vegan and have been for a few years. Is this not for me then? What topics would be covered? Are all the presentations at the different libraries the same?
Will there be any closer to Cascade Library?

Hi Johanna,
Hi, I’m Kris, a librarian at the Comstock Park branch, and I’ll be leading the Vegan 101 program. I will be going over what it means to be a vegan, why people eat this way (Health, ethical & environmental reasons), all of which, as a vegan already, you probably know. Most of the program is devoted to staples in the vegan pantry, my favorite vegan cookbooks,DVDs, and blogs, and recipes, so you might learn something new there, and I’d love to hear about your favorites! The presentations are all the same. Tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 17) I will be at the Alpine Township branch at 6:30, and tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 18) at the Comstock Park branch at 7:00pm.
