WaZoBia Performs at KDL
Feel the rhythm of Africa as WaZoBia visits several KDL branches. You won’t sit still for this program full of percussion play and dance. WaZoBia is a Grand Rapids based music ensemble. The six member group has a diverse musical background that they bring together to create a unique musical sound that combines traditional African and Afro-Cuban drumming with a variety of other musical influences and styles arranged with modern compositional techniques.

Just got back from the Kentwood show and had a great time! The event lasted about an hour and I didn’t see any bored kids. The highlight for my son was getting a chance to play the drums. It was great they all got the opportunity to give it a shot. Kid oriented and still fun for the adults.
