We Exceeded Our Goals!
We asked those who participated in our summer reading program to fill out a survey. Based on their responses, Summer Reading @ KDL was a huge success! In fact, we not only met but exceeded every goal we set for the program. Check out our goals and results…
Children’s Goals
Goal: At least 80% of parents surveyed will indicate that, as result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, their children have developed a habit of reading.
Our result: 97%
Goal: At least 80% of parents surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, their children think that reading is fun.
Our result: 99%
Goal: At least 80% of parents surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, their children have maintained or improved their reading skills.
Our result: 99%
Teen Goals
Goal: At least 80% of teens surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, they discovered something new at the library this summer.
Our result: 86%
Goal: At least 80% of teens surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, they have enjoyed reading/listening to books or music this summer.
Our result: 94%
Goal: At least 80% of teens surveyed will report that they enjoyed attending a program or programs at the library this summer.
Our result: 91%
Adults Goals
Goal: At least 80% of adults surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, they have discovered something new at the library this summer.
Our result: 83%
Goal: At least 80% of adults surveyed will indicate that, as a result of participating in Summer Reading @ KDL, they have enjoyed reading/listening to books or music this summer.
Our result: 98%
Goal: At least 80% of adults surveyed will report that they enjoyed attending a program or programs at the library this summer.
