The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman

Elizabeth is not having a good year.  Her best friend moved away and she is forced to start at a new school where she doesn’t know anyone.  So Elizabeth is pleased when her teacher suggests applying for a job at the New-York Circulating Material Repository. After the strangest job interview ever, she is hired as a page.

Soon Elizabeth is allowed access to the Grimm collection, items that were collected by the original brothers and have magical properties, just like the stories she read as a child.  But the items are disappearing and it looks like one of the pages might be responsible. When another page disappears, Elizabeth and her fellow pages must work together to find the missing items and rescue their friend.
