Great Movie You’ve Never Seen
Please don’t watch this movie if you are expecting a light-hearted comedy. Don’t watch this movie with your children. Don’t imagine the movie didn’t really earn its R rating; it did.
But if you like your comedy smart and dark, if you appreciate laughter through gut-wrenching, reality-based agony, World’s Greatest Dad with Robin Williams might be the movie for you. All Kent District Library copies are currently checked out, but as I type this, there are no KDL holds. Click here to link to the catalog. It could be waiting at your home library by next weekend.
I hope to find a lot of these never-seen gems. If you know one, please comment with the title.

Thanks, Terri. I completely agree with Nobody’s Fool. Loved it! I haven’t seen Mumford, now I’ll have to put a hold on that.

Keeping Mum is another great dark comedy. It stars Rowan Atkinson, Patrick Swayze and Maggie Smith, to name a few.
