I go to the Wyoming branch, and I’m 16. Can I volunteer at this event?

  2. Katie Says:

    Louis,

Our Wyoming branch has no current need for volunteers; however, they would welcome and appreciate your help during the Summer Reading Club. Thanks!

  6. Nicole Says:

    Hello,

I wondering if it would be possible to bring afterschool program either to the Wyoming or Grandville Branch for this event or if there is someone I could speak to about hosting this event again at a separate time for a school group or providing some resources to make this event possible at our school if we are not able to experience it at a KDL library. I am eager to encourage kids to read through an exciting event like this.

    Thanks!

  7. Katie Says:

    Hi Nicole,

Your group is welcome to attend! A staff member from our Wyoming branch will be emailing you to confirm.

    Thank you.

  8. Elaine Says:

I just received the e-mail with this information on 11-2-10. Both of the locations in our area Walker and Grandville) have already had this event. Is it possible to get this information out in a more timely fashion so that my children could participate next time?

  9. Katie Says:

    Elaine,

We featured this program in our November e-newsletter because several branches are hosting it this month. I’m sorry that the parties in your area are over.

I encourage you to pick up a Kaleidoscope or a branch calendar at your library. These pieces list all upcoming programs. Also, visit the events portion of our website to search for all programs taking place at your local branch.
