Amigurumi for the Holidays

With the holiday season fast approaching, now is a great time to start working on some homemade gifts.  Personally, I love looking at all the adorable Amigurumi books that come through the library, but crochet is not one of my skills.  So what to do?  Luckily, the Internet offers many different choices to learn.  My first stop is instructables.com with a tutorial video of how to crochet.  Still not clear enough?  Try youtube.com with even more videos.

Now that I’ve learned the basics of crochet, it is time to check out some of the great crochet books at the library.  There are plenty to choose from even if Amigurumi doesn’t interest you.

If you have handmade some sweet gifts this year, let us know in the comments!
