Dystopia Reading

No reading list is complete without some dystopia books.  2010 brings a number to choose from starting with This World We Live In by Susan Beth Pfeffer.  (Just be aware that this is the third book in a series.)  Miranda has started to adjust since the moon shift caused natural disasters, isolating her family home, but spring brings new challenges and new faces.

Another is The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan, which is book 2 after The Forest of Hands and Teeth.  Gabry has always felt safe inside the walls of Vista.  But everything changes after Gabry and her friends sneak over the wall and come face to face with the dangers and consequences of their actions.

Of coarse, a must read is the final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.  Katniss must face the Capitol’s anger along with the rebels of District 13.  But everyone she loves is in danger as war washes over all the districts, and Katniss must find the strength to end the Capital’s control forever.  Find out what happens to all your favorite characters in this stunning conclusion.

What are you favorite dystopia or post-apocalyptic books?
