We Want YOUR Books!

If your bookshelves are overflowing, let us take some off your hands. Please consider donating your gently-used books to our upcoming Book Bash, which includes a GIANT Book Sale. Your books are sure to find a great new home at this exciting event that supports library programming!

Book donations are being accepted during the month of March at KDL branches, Lake Michigan Credit Union locations, Celebration! Cinema locations, East Hills Athletic Club and Orchard Hills Athletic Club. Check out this map for more information including addresses.

Donate some books now, and you can restock your bookshelves at the Book Bash (April 27–28)! Thank you for your generosity.

   Would you please give us more information on the sale itself…like what are the hours and where is it to be held will there be other things besides a book sale.

   Hi Robin! You can find complete details at http://www.kdlbookbash.org, but to answer your sepcific questions, the public sale is Saturday, April 27 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, April 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. It will be held at KDL’s Service Center, 814 West River Ceter Drive NW in Comstock Park (near Fifth Third Ballpark). And yes, there will be music and movies and games for sale as well. We hope to see you there!

   Hi,
   The site indicates you can attend the Friday book sale but you need a ticket. How does one get a ticket to the Friday book sale event?
