In keeping with October being Family History month, I am recommending that you checkout the posting created by Family Tree Magazine of the 2010 Best State Websites.  I mentioned the site that was picked for Michigan in a previous posting, but this is a good time to review the states were your ancestors lived and see if the resources listed can provide any more detail or information.  One of the great things about genealogy resources on the internet is that more information is being added!
