Horror Books

This time of the year invites cozy nights around the fire and scary stories!  Don’t miss some of this year’s new horror books.

Token of Darkness by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes centers around Cooper Blake.  After a near fatal accident, Cooper’s life is just not the same, especially since he has been able to see Samantha, who he first believes is a ghost.  Neither one understands the connection between them, but as dark shadows threaten Samantha, Cooper needs to find out the truth before it is to late for both of them.

The Evil Within by Nancy Holder is a sequel to Possessions.  Lindsay discovers that she is possessed and must return to Marlwood Academy to find out why the girls at the school are being possessed and how to stop the voices from taking control before someone dies.

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White.  Evie works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency because of her ability to see through  paranormals’ glamour.  But when Evie finds herself at the center of a dark faerie prophecy, she most work with the shapeshifter Lend to stop it from being fulfilled.

Although not a new book, my favorite horror book is Abhorsen by Garth Nix.  Let us know about your favorite horror book in the comments!
