What is your favorite book so far this year?

Kissing the Bee by Kathe Koja is my favorite of the last few months. Dana, Avra and Emil are preparing for their senior-year prom, while Dana tries to finish an extensive biology project on bees. Avra plans to attend prom with her boyfriend, Emil, then run away with him without telling anyone. Dana becomes engrossed with her project and is also falling for Emil, but does she dare challenge Avra, “the queen bee”?
I loved this book, but tell me about your favorites of ’08!
Put Kissing the Bee on hold.

Beacon Street Girls is an awesome book for teen girls. Sorry boys! It tells a story about a girl who moves around a lot with her dad, but then they find a place in Boston, MA and they stay. Charlette finds friends that she really likes. they go through tough times and some really fun thrilling times.

My favorite book so far this year was Leftovers by Laura Weiss. It was a 2-person narrative about 2 teen girls who are from different parts of society. They try to keep their friendship together no matter what. It has a bit of a mystery to it seeing as that as the reader you are unsure who the girls are telling their “story” to.
