ArtPrize Sculpture at Kentwood Branch
The Art Prize sculpture “Flights of Learning” has found a home at the ne
w Kentwood branch. The sculpture was purchased for $30,000, funded by donations to the Kentwood Foundation and the city for library artwork. The artist, Bryce Pettit, is constructing a permanent pedestal for the statue.
Besides the sculpture, the Kentwood branch has pieces by eight other artists on display. The artwork was purchased with donations to the new library, and the art collection will continue to grow.

I was hoping that Flights of Learning would end up at a local library. Looking forward to seeing it.
