KDL CLOSED Monday, January 6

Due to extreme weather conditions, all Kent District Library branches and the Service Center will be CLOSED on Monday, January 6. We apologize for any inconvenience and will resume normal business hours as the weather permits. Fines on items due Monday will be waived.

    If I have an item on-hold that says to pick-up by 1-7-14, will I still be able to pick this up tomorrow? Was planning to do it today.

    Yes, you would normally have until end of business Tuesday, january 7th to pick up your hold. Stay warm and safe!

    Bummer–winter in Michigan. Stopped by today to p/u my 8 books on hold, that will be going to Florida with me 5am Tuesday–oh well–9:35am Tuesday.
    What can you do? winter in Michigan. lol I sure do appreciate your ‘hold’ program! Thanks.

    I have 5 books on hold waiting for pick up on jan 6th but cant get there right now..will they still be kept for pick-up? Please don’t send them back just yet. I have a ride scheduled on Thursday for sure as I don’t have a car and cant walk in this weather. sincerely, Michele

    Please call our Patron Services Department at 616-784-2007 to see if arrangements can be made to hold these books until Thursday.
