Cultural Awareness: Focus on S.E. Asia
People of all ages are invited to experience the culture, music, geography and food of India, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand and China. Cultural Awareness – Focus on Southeast Asia will take place from 2:00-4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21 at the Englehardt branch. The Alpine Township branch will host the program from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 5. Books, music and videos about the area will be on display, and food and drink will be available.

India, Korea and China are not Southeast Asia countries. Maybe KDL should change it with Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia just to name a few countries that “actually” located in Southeast Asia. India is obviously South Asia, not southeast. Korea and China are quite far from the Southeast Asia region. If still not clear which countries are belong to Southeast Asia, please visit the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) website for further clarifications:

Not all kinds of asian countries are in the same region. Please make a distinction to better providing correct information to the public.
