Spring Break Fun!

sunStaying in town for spring break? We can help keep your kids happy, busy and entertained… and we may even sneak in a little education (but they will never know)! Between Eco-Friendly Garden Projects, Rainbow Loom Creativity, Tom Plunkard: Beyond Magic and much more, there won’t be any time for boredom.

Click here for a complete list of our programs taking place April 4 – 13.

And if you are heading to the sunny south for break, make sure to stop in your local branch and stock up on some great vacation reads.

Wishing everyone a safe and fun spring vacation!

  1. Rachel Says:

Will the teen area at Wyoming actually be usable by teens during spring break, or will it still be serving as the waiting room for the ‘mental health’ business being run out of one of the study rooms?

  2. Heidi Nagel Says:

Rachel – Our teen area is a vibrant part of the library, popular with many patrons. There are other areas within the library that are more suitable for quiet activities. If you ever find your ability to enjoy the library is being disrupted due to the behavior of others, please alert a staff member immediately. It is our goal to make the library welcoming and comfortable for all of our customers. Happy Spring!

I really wish the KDL Rockford/Krause branch had more spring break activities for children. Bummer!

  4. Katie Says:

    Hi Kristy,

If it’s not too far of a drive, we would love to have you visit one of our other branches this week for a fun, free program for children!
