Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess by George O’Connor is one of the 20 Michigan Thumbs Up! award book selections of 2010.  The complete list and voting information is available from the MLA website or at your local library.

George O’Connor brings the Olympians to life with his graphic adaptations.  Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess tells the story of Athena’s unique birth as well as some of her extraordinary tales.

Athena is the second in a planned series. Zeus has already been published and Hera is expected later this year.
