Back-to-School Resources for Students

As summer vacation ends and students head back to school, and back to homework and projects, be sure to check out KDL’s online resources for all your research needs. The Kent District Library’s collection of research databases features some of the most comprehensive and authoritative information available on a variety of subjects.

High School and College Students — Do you need authoritative content from academic journals, magazines, or newspapers? Check out Expanded Academic ASAP, FirstSearch, or any of the other databases in our Newpapers and Magazines category. (Most even offer full-text articles!)

Elementary and Middle School Students — Do you need information about a specific country or photos of famous people and events? Check out CultureGrams, Electric Library, World Book Kids, or any of our other Youth database resources.

KDL offers over 50 different databases in a variety of subject categories, all available for free with a Kent Distict Library card from anywhere Internet access is available!
