Facebook can provide more than a place to waste time playing games.  Use one or more of the book-related applications to keep your friends in the loop of what you are reading. Galleycat recently posted a blog with the top 20 book apps on Facebook. The first one mentioned is Goodreads, which is one of my favorite sites, and by linking to Facebook, I can share my reading choices with all my friends.
