Due to severe weather conditions, the Kent District Library will be closing at 3:00 p.m. today, December 23. We will be closed tomorrow and Thursday (December 24-25) for the Christmas holidays, and will resume normal business hours on Friday, December 26, weather permitting.

I tried to log into my account to renew my books that are due today.
I cannot get there before you close to renew. My account is not letting
me in. Please renew my books, thank you!

I was returning an overdue cd today and now it won’t show up as returned until the 26th. Please consider it returned as of today the 22nd.

Hi everyone,
If you are having problems with your PIN number when logging in, please try the last 4 digits of your phone number. If you are still unable to renew your items, contact your local library branch when they re-open on Friday. A staff member can assist you with renewing, and can waive any fines that have accrued in the meantime.

I have books that are on hold that I must pick up soon, but because of weather related closings, I have been unable to pick them up. I don’t want to go back to the end of the line for my holds, but this afternoon was really the only time I could come get them and I got there at 3:15, completely unaware of the early closing. Please extend my hold a few more days so that I can still pick up my items. Thank you.

I have several books that were due on or before the 19th of Dec.
My school was closed and I could not get to them. I have emailed my principal to see if I could get in the building and she is out of town.
Please extend my due dates on these books. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
