It’s always great when public libraries receive recognition in the mainstream media, and we seem to be seeing it more and more these days. Given the current economic climate, it’s no surprise that people are often turning to us for their entertainment, information, and productivity needs; after all, that’s what we’re here for. I particularly like this most recent article by the Wall Street Journal as I think it accurately reflect what’s going on not only at the libraries mentioned, but at libraries across the country, including KDL. You can view the article here.
We’d also like to know what you’re using the library for these days. Are you someone who’s recently started to use the library again? Or perhaps your library habits have changed? We’d love to hear from you. Also, if you’re interested in voicing your support for libraries, consider letting the Obama administration know by completing this form. Additional information is available on the American Library Association’s website.
Thank you for your continued support.
