KDLville Early Literacy Play Spaces

The Caledonia Township Library opened their new 18,000 square foot building last February with a KDLville early literacy play space.  With a tree stump entrance into the area, interactive end panels, and fun crafts at the art cart as permanent fixtures, the space has been a big hit in the community. Some favorites from the rotating toys have included a kitchen, a car ramp, a doll house, and magnetic gears. The writing center includes monthly activities to help children get ready to write. Be sure to stop in soon and check out the latest addition that is sure to be a hit: the new grocery shelf and shopping cart!
