Meet the Author: Mardi Link
Don’t miss out on a wonderful opportunity to meet Michigan author Mardi Link! She will be the featured guest for the Friends Booked for Lunch program taking place from 12:30 – 2:30 pm on Thursday, October 27 at the Cascade Township branch of Kent District Library. Mardi will discuss her 2010 Michigan Notable Book, Isadore’s Secret: Sin, Murder, and Confession in a Northern Michigan Town. The book shares a gripping account of the mysterious disappearance of a young nun in a northern Michigan town and the national controversy that followed when she turned up dead and buried in the basement of the church. Mardi will sign books at the event.
A delicious lunch will be served at this program. Tickets are $10 each, or $8 if you are a member of the Friends of Library group. If you would like to hear the presentation but pass on the lunch, tickets are $5. Money is accepted at the door. Registration is required by October 24 if you are attending the lunch. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cascade Library.
Mardi Link is a true crime writer from Traverse City. She is also the author of When Evil Came to Good Hart.
We hope to see you there!

Read both of Mardi’s books and have had the pleasure of meeting with her when she was at the Library in Down Town Grand Rapids a couple years back (I also went to school with Mardi). Both books are a great reads/.
