Tyrone Twp. Branch Manager Retires

Marcia DeMeester will retire as Branch Manager of the Tyrone Township branch of KDL on October 8. An Open House will be held in Marcia’s honor from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 6 at the Tyrone Township branch. Stop by to wish Marcia a fond farewell!

Marcia joined the KDL staff in February of 1988, and became the Branch Manager of the Tyrone Township branch in June of 1990.

“I have enjoyed working for KDL for the last 23 years. The organization is exceptional and the people are wonderful,” said Marcia. “I will miss the Library Community very much. I have known the people for a long time and watched the children grow up and start families of their own.”

Please join us in thanking Marcia for her many years of dedicated service and wishing her well in her retirement!

Marcia – Since I’ll be teaching a computer class during your open house, I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend. So wish I could stop by but I’m wishing you the very best in your retirement. You are awesome! Take care! Shirley
