The Englehardt branch recently was host to what was believed to be the first wedding held in a KDL branch! As chronicled in an article in The Grand Rapids Press, Erin Babson and Tim Peraino chose to marry their love of books — and each other — amid the stacks.
Our congratulations to the couple on what was truly a storybook event!

Morgan J. is a KDL communications assistant. She spends summers as a “hood ornament” of sorts while her husband captains their old, cedar-sided pontoon down the Flat River. In the wintertime she counts the days until she’ll have her toes in the water again.
