GET READY: December Checklist
If disaster strikes, would you be ready? The GET READY! Kent County t
welve-month citizen preparedness program focuses on a different area of emergency preparedness each month. In December, you are encouraged to sign up for first aid, CPR and AED training. Check out this fact sheet for more information on what you will learn, why you need to be trained, how to enroll and more.
KDL is teaming up with the Kent County Sheriff Department, Health Department and the American Red Cross to make sure you are prepared for an emergency. Remember, when disaster strikes, it is easier to cope when you are prepared!

I would like to get trained in first aid, cpr and aed, but we are on an extremely tight budget. is there any scholarships for this. My husband hasn’t had work for most of last year and we have a large family. Thank you.

Tanya,
I would suggest calling the Kent County Emergency Team to inquire about scholarships. They can be reached at 632-6258.
