Hello, is it possible to register myself on the KDL website? Or am i going to have to register myself with one of the librarians at the service desk?

How long is the waiting list? I just registered for my son and it mentioned that.
Also, can the public just come watch?
Thanks,
Jerrel

Hi Jerrel!
As of this response there are six people on the waiting list. For those who really really would like to be a part of programs with waiting lists, it is not entirely unheard of for there to be no-shows the day of the event. No promises, of course.
As to your second question, a qualified yes. There may not be seating set up (these things tend to be packed events), but if there’s room, the public can watch!

Hello! Do you ever have Wii tournaments for kids ages 5 and 6? My son would love to participate in an event such as Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart or Mario Galaxy.
Thanks.

Ryan- No we don’t, but this is a fabulous idea! I’ll pass this along to our programs department.

That would be great! My son and some of his friends play and are actually very good. I think there would be interest from the community.
Thanks for considering.

Hi!! My friend and I have recently been in your latest Wii tourament and my friend got second place. We were both wondering if you could maybe do a Mario Kart Double Dash!! tournament. The game is for the GameCube but all GameCube games are playable on the Wii. You would need a GameCube memory card for each system, but the memory cards are really cheap and you can copy the data from one memory card to the other so everything is unlocked on each station. GameCube games are also really cheap becuase of being Nintendo’s last console. Everybody would have to bring their own GameCube controller though to play because you can’t use Wii controllers while playing GameCube games.
Thanks.

Thanks for considering my idea. If you guys actually do this tournament, (I hope you guys do)I could help by transfering my data to your memory card to make sure everything is unlocked, if you guys do this tournament.
Thanks.
