Meet the Michigan Author: George Dila

Ludington-area author and Pushcart Prize nominee George Dila will be at the East Grand Rapids branch at 6:30 PM on Thursday, April 12, to read from and sign and sell copies of his short-story collection, Nothing More To Tell.

Dila’s stories and personal essays have appeared in North American Review, Traverse, and Christian Science Monitor, among others. A native Detroiter and graduate of Wayne State University, he directs the activities of Ludington Visiting Writers, a literary program he founded in 2001.

Dila’s appearance is part of KDL’s Celebrate the Mitten author series, which includes more than a dozen published authors from around the state appearing at various branches through May, and an author showcase from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 21 at the Kentwood branch.
