Meet the Authors: Byron & Wilson

Kick off road-trip season with some award-winning coastal Mitten inspiration!

Three-time Michigan Notable Book honorees, authors M. Christine Byron & Thomas R. Wilson, will give a presentation at 6:30 PM on Monday, May 14 at the Gaines Township branch on their new book, Vintage Views Along the West Michigan Pike: From Sand Trails to US-31. The book tells the story of the 400-mile meandering ribbon of mostly coastal road’s early beginning as serpentine sand trails and rutted dirt pathways, and its transformation to US-31 used by today’s traveler.

Byron and Wilson’s visit is part of of KDL’s Celebrate the Mitten author series, which includes more than a dozen published authors from around the state appearing at various branches from March through May.
