    Summer is a great time to Download the Library! KDL offers books, magazines, music & video which can easily be taken with you on trips.

    Goodreads is a great site to keep track of your reading as well as connect to KDL. KDL is hosting two more authors for a live discussion on our group page: July 14 – D.E. Johnson & August 28 – Lisa Rose Starner. Hope you can join us!

    I went to the Native American Dance. It was very cool. We got to dance with them. The one dance was called the snake. We swirled into a circle and just keep moving, then went out. It was very fun. One of them showed us the hoops. Which is dance. She did very good at it. I hope to do it again some time.

    My mom checked out the ebook Barbie Mariposa & the Fairy Princess on her tablet and we were able to read it together while I turned the pages.

    I attended the Touch-A-Truck at the Grandville Library. It was fun to touch so many vehicles. What a fun event1

    I’ve joined the KDL Goodreads Group. I’ve used Goodreads for years, and use the app every time I’m at the library to find books on my To-read shelf.

    I used Book Flix! It was lots of fun. Kids should check it out. You can choose a topic and watch a fiction story and then read a non-fiction book about the same topic online. There are alot of great choices in Book Flix.

    I read The Twits by Roald Dahl and Mr. Macky is Wacky by Dan Gutman on Overdrive.
