Welcome to the KDL Blog. The KDL Blog will allow you to stay up-to-date on all of the latest KDL news, events and resources, as well as provide the opportunity to share comments and thoughts regarding a particular post or topic. The KDL Blog is divided into five primary categories; “Books and Reading”, “Events”, “News”, “Parents and Kids”, and “Teens”. Each category will feature KDL-related content specific to that topic.
So what is a “blog” exactly? A blog, short for “web log” is an interface that lets people easily publish content to a website. Many blogs also include some handy features, such as the ability to add comments and built-in RSS capabilities, which users can subscribe to by using an RSS feed reader — both features offered in the KDL Blog.
We encourage our patrons to use the KDL Blog in order to provide comments and feedback related to KDL’s services, events, news, and resources. However, we do require that comments are written in a manner that is respectful of others. This means no offensive language, threats, or comments directly meant to harm another person. In short, please use common sense when posting comments to the KDL Blog.
We hope you enjoy reading and using the KDL Blog and we look forward to serving you in our branches!
